Call for Attendance

1.       Workshop Scope

 

The International Workshop on Environmental, Safety and Economic Aspects of Fusion Power, organized by the International Energy Agency (IEA) Implementing Agreement (IA) on a Co-operative Program on Environment, Safety and Economic Aspects of Fusion Power (ESEFP), aims to establish a platform for the scientists and engineers to exchange information and further enhance the collaboration, coordinating international efforts to bridge the scientific and technical gap between ITER and DEMO, and supporting governmental policies and raising awareness of fusion energy developments and potentials to the general public.

1)        Safety Issues and Environmental Impact

2)        Availability Growth and Risk Control

3)        Socio-economic Aspects of Fusion Power

4)        Fusion Power Plant Studies

 

3.       Scientific Program

 

The workshop mainly consists of the invited session (via invitation), special session (via invitation), and oral session (via abstract submission). Note that 2015 Executive Committee (ExCo) Meeting of ESEFP IA will be held in conjunction with this workshop.

4.       Call for Attendance

 

If someone is interested in attending the workshop, please fulfill the attached attendance intention form and then send back to Workshop LOC (iea@fds.org.cn) via email by 1th June. 2015. Meanwhile, authors are invited to submit one-page abstracts to iea@fds.org.cn for the possible oral session presentations with the attached abstract template.
